The GETSLOFF DESIGN GROUP, Inc. is seeking an energetic individual to join our Space Planning & Interior Design team. This position is full time and has a flexible start date. We are looking for a candidate that is currently working in the commercial & corporate build out sector and has a minimum of 5+ years work experience in this specific field.

The ideal candidate will have the following abilities to fill the Interior Design position:

  • 5+ years of commercial & corporate design related experience.

  • Professional degree in Interior Design

  • NCIDQ Certification is preferred.

  • AutoCAD proficiency is a mandate, along with the ability to prepare working Construction Drawing sets.

  • SketchUp experience is a plus

  • Familiarity with building codes and ADA compliancy.

  • The ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.

  • Be able to work within tight project timelines and manage ongoing project activities for all phases of the design process from concept through installation.

  • Possess organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • The ability to adapt with team members to bring all to fruition.

  • Must be equipped with strong communication skills to allow the transition of design from inception to completion.

  • Strong presentation skills.

The position requires interior designing as it relates to the programming, design and construction documentation of workplace interiors and other commercial projects.

​

The interior designer will assist in site visits, attend manufacturer representative meetings as well and help to maintain our office sample library.

​

The position also requires this candidate to be open to meeting with clients, consultants, and other individuals to understand and meet the client's goals and requirements for the build out of their space.
